The Most Fatal - Coronary Disease

Coronary heart disease refers to inability of blood vessels to provide proper circulation of blood to the cardiac muscles of the heart. This condition arises due to narrowing of the vessels which thus inhibits the proper blood flow and so the necessary Oxygen does not reach the muscles.

It is mainly caused due to deposition of fat in the inner lining of the blood vessels which narrows these vessels. This narrowing can be to such an extent that it leads to the complete blocking of the vessels. In such condition the Coronary muscles of heart do not get their required Oxygen supply and might stop working which is called a Heart Attack.

Various factors of coronary diseases can be classified as:
-Diabetes
-High Blood Pressure
-Smoking
-Genetic Disorder
-Chronic Kidney Disease
-Abnormal Cholesterol Levels
Coronary Heart disease can be avoided by methods like weight control, regular exercise, healthy diet and smoking cessation. Other medical practices like medicine and surgery are also there in a case where the Coronary heart diseases pose as a threat.

In surgical method the faulty vessels are cleared of the fat or they are replaced (Coronary Artery By-pass Surgery). Another method is insertion of an artificial pump called Stent in the heart which ensures the functioning of the coronary muscles. In cases where these methods are not affective Heart transplant is the last option left.
Coronary heart disease is a very common disease these days causing many deaths. The only solution to this problem is having a control over you and keeping yourself as healthy as possible.
