What is the treatment for arthritis?

Arthritis is one of the most common diseases that affect the elderly and sometimes, even the young people. This bone and joints related problem can also be one of the most painful and unpleasant diseases for a person. The persons who are suffering from arthritis also suffer from one of the many side effects of this disease. The effects include pain in legs and arms, joints like ankles and knees, restrictions in the rotation and independent movement of ankles and wrists and inability or restrictions in walking and other physical activities. There is no guaranteed treatment for arthritis as the disease essentially weakens bones, joints and body muscles. The strength also decreases and hence, the disease doesn’t really have a viable cure option. But treatment for arthritis exists in terms of remedial solutions and temporary relief, which means that a patient of arthritis may have to visit clinics and specialists all throughout his or her life. The main treatment for arthritis includes physiotherapy, special messages and medications. In the treatment of arthritis via the process of physiotherapy, the patient undergoes ray treatment, or heat treatment which temporarily relaxes the muscles. There are also prescribed short exercises and calisthenics which can be effective for treatment for arthritis. In addition to this, treatment of arthritis can also be done by implementing a good diet containing adequate calcium and protein in order to maintain bone health and prevent or restrict bone decay
