We all know that high amount of cholesterol is harmful for our body. This lipoprotein is accountable for all the heart diseases which are caused by cholesterol. If you are consuming g high level of LDL then you are in grave danger. The chemical structure and characteristics of this lipoprotein makes it a very affective inhibitor. Low- density lipoprotein is accountable for the accumulation of waxy deposit in blood vessels. It is seen that a high amount of LDL flowing in blood plasma glues to the walls of blood vessels like arteries and narrows it dimensions. If an artery becomes inflexible then a person can have heart attack anytime. The major problem with LDL is the deposit which builds up in artery. Artery is the blood vessel which brings in blood to the heart and brain. So, if sufficient amount of blood doesn’t reach heart then the overall blood circulation is affected. This is one of the reasons for heart attacks.

Increase the activity and locomotion of LDL receptors in blood stream helps is lowering LDL cholesterol. This can be only achieved if you have a balance diet rather a low cholesterol one with saturated fat. Medications and treatment can be used in lowering LDL cholesterol level and elevate the concentration of Good cholesterol or HDL. Statin is one of the renowned medications which are used to lower the level of cholesterol. There are certain basics for lowering LDL cholesterol. Loss of excess weight or obesity is one way.
