General Symptoms of Eye which Denotes a Person is Suffering from Eye Infection

Eye infections are of various kinds and are caused due to various reasons. The most general type of eye infections is that of conjunctivitis which is caused either due to bacterial or viral infection. Listed below are some of the symptoms of eye infections which are almost common for any type of infections related to eyes. The eye becomes red in color, with a serious itching sensation. Other types of symptoms include that of watery eyes with water like liquid falling continuously from eyes. If the problem is serious, then this water likes substance which becomes somewhat like that of jelly likes yellow substance. The white color of the eye becomes either pinkish or that of yellowish in color. There are frequent tears flowing from the eyes. Sometimes the eye infections lead to blurred image or low sight and ultimately leading to the loss of eye power. The infections generally come with a lot of pain and sometimes affect the other parts of eyes that are the throat and the ear regions leading to the pain the ears also. Also some times the problem of migraine is related to that of the eye infections. The sensitivity of eye towards high density of light is lost. There is swelling, irritation, burning and pain during closing up of eye lids. There is also sensation of eyes towards any type of foreign bodies and ultimately for all these reasons a good doctor should be consulted
