Eye Infections: Cause Due to Bacterial Fungal or Viral and the Symptoms

There are several types of eye infections which are caused due to the affecting of various types of micro organisms like that of virus, bacteria and that of fungus. The common type of eye infections which is generally caused in almost a majority of population is that of conjunctivitis or popularly known as red eye. The main symptoms of conjunctivitis are that of inflammation or swelling up of the mucous membrane of the eyes which the liner of the inner membrane of eyelids is. The main symptoms of conjunctivitis are that of having a red eye with frequently watery discharge and some times in severe cases the watery discharge becomes yellowish green type of fluid which is ultimately deposited near the eye corners. There is severe itching of the eyes in this type of eye infections. These type of conductivities can be bacterial, viral or due to fungal infections depending upon the type and cause.

Other types of eye infections are hat of bacterial keratin, viral keratins and that that of fungal keratins along with herpes keratins. The major symptom of bacterial keratins is that of a much reduced sight and a severe pain in the eye when excessive light falls on eye and some kind of discharge. It is particularly an infection of cornea. On the other hand fungal keratins include that of a blurred vision and same type of pain and discharge. The actual cause of the eye infections should be known and accordingly proper medication should be done
